A print of the Complete Currency Collection
The Republic of Texas circulated it's own richly engraved currency for nine years, until becoming the 28th State in 1845. This framed print includes all nine denominations, as well as the ornate reverse, which gave the notes their nickname of "red backs." Printed on unbelievably fine paper, originals of these notes are quite scarce today, and a collection of originals that would match this print is worth well over $5,000.
Framed in darkwood, 33" x 27", $245
Unframed, $45
